-MATT STUTZMAN: Record-breaking archer fired his way into history September 2011 by launching an arrow into the middle of a target situated 230 yards away, beating the previous mark by 12 yards. And he did it with his feet. And his mouth. Why, you ask? Because he doesn’t have arms.
-MARIO INVERNIZZI: Departed from Monaco and landed in Venice in a powerboat with average speed of 51.35 kts equal to about 92km/h in September 2011.
-GREG WESTLAKE∑: Turned in a speed of 73.507 km/h at the World Human Powered Speed Challenge in Battle Mountain, Nevada.
-WORLD RECORD HELICOPTER TEAM: Set a new world speed record from San Diego Calif. to Savannah/Hilton Head Ga. and back, on Sept. 17, 2011. Flying a Robinson R44 Raven II, the four-man team departed from Brown Field when the race clock started at 7:28 a.m. Despite some extreme weather conditions along the way, they made it back in less than two and a half days.
