Born in 1980, Iranian freelancer SABA TAHERIAN got her bachelor degree in Accounting while acquiring a certificate in applied journalism. In 2008, she decided to pursue her dreams of becoming a photographer. The self-taught freelancer attended workshops in Istanbul, and started working for various local newspapers, websites, magazines. She also worked for organizations such as the Association for Protection of Refugee Women and Children in Afghanistan. In 2009, Iran’s English-language broadcasting network, Press TV, hired her as a photojournalist for the presidential campaigns. She currently lives in Tehran.
