October 29, 2023: Crowds on the Uskudar coast attended the Republic Day celebrations during the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Republic, the Turkish navy organized the largest official parade in Turkish history with 100 ships in the Bosphorus, Istanbul, Turkey on October 29, 2023. In the parade called ”100 Ships in the 100th Year”, TCG Anadolu, TCG Nusret, as well as 11 frigates, 10 submarines, 4 corvettes, 4 patrol ships, 17 assault boats, 8 mine hunting ships, 5 fuel ships, 6 amphibious landing ships. 10 tank landing ships, 18 auxiliary class ships and 4 attack boats participated.
