April 24, 2024, Los Angeles, California, U.S.A: Administrators and campus police called in the LAPD and shut down campus to the pubic as hundreds of pro-Palestinian and pro-Hamas protestors gathered on campus. Over 50 people were arrested: some were charged with assault for throwing water bottles at police; most with trespassing when they refused to leave campus or honor safety perimeters. There were grave concerns about terrorists and infiltrators coming on campus, where tens of thousands of students live.
