May 1, 2024, Los Angeles, California, U.S.A: Pro-Palestine/Hamas protestors on the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) campus wave flags above their tent encampment. The students built walls around the tent city with plywood and refuse to allow Jewish students and reporters entry. Many are calling Hamas’s October 7th attack on Israel ‘Fake News’ and the protest seems more about the call for the downfall of Western governments and the eradication of Israel, which they deny has a right to exist, than about compassion for the Palestinians dying in the war Hamas started.
