June 12, 2024, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia: Officers using a wooden boat clean up plastic waste that has settled in the Citarum River in Batujajar, West Bandung Regency. Based on data from the Ministry of Environment of West Bandung Regency, the waste that has settled since Friday (7/6/2024) in the Citarum River in the Batujajar area is 3 km long and 60 meters wide with an estimated volume of more than 100 tons of plastic waste.
