May 20, 2024, New York, New York, USA: Anti-Trump protesters with the activist group Rise & Resist evade police closures surrounding the Manhattan Criminal Courthouse during the Trump hush money trial by exiting a cab in front of the courthouse chanting ”No one is above the law’ holding American flags and signs with images of Trump that read ‘ELECTION INTERFERENCE IS A CRIME’ and ‘NOT ABOVE THE LAW.’ Police immediately move them from the street. The case charges that former President Trump orchestrated a cover-up of payments to the adult film actress known as S. Daniels as a means to interfere with the 2016 presidential election.
