March 4, 2023: Hong Kong, China: The top part of the 42-story hotel under construction which was destroyed in the massive fire on the late evening of Mar 2, 2023. Hong Kong is poised for what could be the city’s largest ever property related insurance payout in a single case after a massive class-4 fire engulfed Empire Group’s Kimpton Hotel scheduled to complete within this year. The massive fire has brought damages to neighboring buildings which include mansions, newly built office building and hotels.
