October 7, 2024, Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin, USA: Construction continues on Microsoft’s data center in the Village of Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin Monday October 7, 2024. Microsoft and President Joe Biden announced near the site May 8 that the company is investing $3.3 billion in the data center and related AI initiatives in Southeast Wisconsin. The site is across from the Foxconn campus, a project which fell short of the expectations announced in 2018.
