November 11, 2024, Los Angeles, California, USA: Several groups led by DACA recipients gathered at La Placita Olvera, for a rally in response to policies President-elect Donald Trump has promised to enforce against immigrants who have entered the country. Demonstrators often referred to immigration registry bills HR1511 and S2606. The bills would legalize migrants with a clean record who have been in the US for 7 years and paid taxes during that period.
