Anti-Trump protesters with the activist group Rise & Resist stage a non-violent demonstration holding signs & banners near Madison Square Garden, the site of large campaign rally and fundraiser for former President Trump where Trump will appear along with high profile Republicans and supporters. Massive security from the Secret Service and NYPD have converged on midtown Manhattan in anticipation of potential violence. The protesters state that Trump is unfit to serve as President and his agenda is anti-LGBTQ, misogynist, and fascist. They demand No Trump, No Project 2025, no Republican agenda in NYC.
