November 19, 2024, Hong Kong, China: In Hong Kong, outside West Kowloon Magistracy (High Court) policemen rush to stop a woman who arrived to the court trial and suddenly displayed a banner, on it written in Chinese and English it reads : God is With You. The woman was swiftly detained and questioned by police for a mild gesture of protest. Today, pro-Beijing Hong Kong court handed verdicts to all 47 Democrats defendants, among them the mastermind of 2020 UNOFFICIAL PRIMARY ELECTIONS held by pro-Democracy Camp, Benny Tai is sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment, the longest and most serious sentence given to any other pro-democracy defendants.
