January 14, 2025, Pacific Palisades, California, USA: The Mexican military has come to assist America’s National Urban Search & Rescue (US&R) and Cal Fire to find human remains in the homes and businesses that burnt during the Palisades Fire. They stand on a destroyed structure, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, lined with burnt palm trees, along the Pacific Coast Highway, after a long day of sifting through toxic debris.
