February 14, 2025, New York, New York, USA: New York City Public Advocate JUMAANE WILLIAMS addresses rally attendees. Immigrant advocacy organizations and elected officials hold a rally in City Hall Park denouncing Mayor Adams continued collaboration with the Trump administration’s immigration policies. After meeting again with Trump’s Border Czar T. Homan this week the Mayor announced that he will allow ICE agents at Rikers jail complex. Rally organizers cite the Justice Department’s order to dismiss Adams’ bribery case as an exchange for the Mayor’s aggressive and illegal cooperation with I.C.E entering schools, hospitals and Rikers.
