Around 11:00 a.m. on August 11, 2025, a sudden fire broke out on Nurjahan Road in Mohammadpur, Dhaka, affecting roadside electronic transformers as well as dish and internet cables. Before the fire service arrived, local residents managed to bring the blaze under control. No casualties were reported in the incident.
