
September 24, 2025, Merritt Island, Florida, USA: A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launches from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, Florida, on Sep. 24, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. EDT, carrying multiple payloads, including NASA’s Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP), the Carruthers Geocorona Observatory, and NOAA’s Space Weather Follow-On L1 satellite. IMAP will study how the solar wind interacts with the interstellar medium.
