
January 7, 2026, Lima, Peru: Young Venezuelans Yanelis Torres, a graphic designer, and Kelly Peraza work in a store in the Gamarra textile district, a national hub for clothing manufacturing and production. They came up with the idea of digitally altering photos of the president, taken by the U.S. government, to sell as a novel product, achieving significant success in both wholesale and retail sales.
