January 16, 2026, Concord, NC, USA: A group of about two dozen Buddhist monks continues their long journey toward the U.S. capital, Washington, D.C., after setting out from Fort Worth, Texas, in late October. The march, spanning ten states, aims to promote a message of peace and nonviolence, following the teachings of the Buddha.
