November 29, 2025: Berlin, Germany: Far-right supporters affiliated with the Die Heimat party gathered near Berlin Cathedral on Saturday displaying German flags and signs calling for “Safety and Order” and “No Tolerance for Criminal Foreigners.” Members of the extremist youth group Deutsche Jugend Voran joined the demonstration with banners demanding “Close the Borders,” while police monitored the scene closely. Nearby, Antifa activists and members of Grandmas Against the Right assembled in a counter-protest, chanting and holding signs denouncing right-wing extremism. Officers formed tight lines to keep the groups separated as tensions rose throughout the afternoon.

September 21, 2025, Manila, Philippines: Gen Z protesters scuffled with the police as they tried to reach the Malacanang compound during a mass protest, the ”Trillion Peso March” to rally against corruption. The demonstrations, organized by various civil society groups, church leaders, student councils and youths aim to call for greater transparency and accountability in government spending including the controversial ”ghost” flood-control projects. Also this date is symbolically significant as it coincides with the 53rd anniversary of the declaration of martial law by former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.
Some protests turned violent, with masked individuals clashing with police near Malacañang Palace, leaving dozens injured and two civilians dead.
