April 6, 2024, Mexico City, Mexico City, Mexico: Dozens of people demonstrate this Saturday in front of the Ecuadorian embassy in Mexico after the diplomatic rupture between both countries. The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, ordered the suspension of diplomatic relations with Ecuador after the Mexican embassy in Quito was raided to capture former vice president Jorge Glas, who was under conditions of political asylum at the diplomatic headquarters.
