The gunman had opened fire at Schemengees Bar in Lewiston, killing 18. Joshua Seal, 36 an ASL interpreter was killed at the bar, which was hosting a cornhole tournament for members of the deaf community when the gunman entered. He leaves behind his wife Elizabeth Seal and four children. Arthur Strout was killed when least 18 people were gunned down in the assault in Lewiston. Strout’s father Arthur Barnard was playing pool with his son at the bar and left just before the gunman opened fire. He has turned his pain into purpose, attending the Center for American Progress national Gun Violence Prevention conference and a National vigil by the Newtown Action Alliance. Barnard is lobbying lawmakers in Congress for common sense gun control measures, especially a nationwide registry, and says ‘They should walk a day on our shoes.’ Welcome to: ‘Maine Mass Shooting A COMMUNITY GRIEVES’
