January 30, 2021, Hong Kong, CHINA: Citizens walk past street side vendor that sells SIM Cards in Hong Kong. HKSAR is planning to initiate a programme called Real Name Registration for SIM Cards. The intention of HK government is to stamp out anonymous mobile phone users for ‘security reason’. Government is insisting that such a move has nothing to do with any intention to register true identities of SIM Cards users however many citizens are skeptical about government’s intention of promoting the PLAN.

Taiwan Center for Disease Control on Wednesday reported 304 new domestic cases, 331 adjusted cases, and 11 deaths while facing inadequate vaccines supply in the face of the ongoing community transmission.
