September 16, 2020, Mobile, Alabama, USA: Rescue crews help save Ernestine Law when a tree fell on her house during Hurricane Sally. Ernestine and her daughter and grandbaby were in the house at the time. The daughter and grandbaby were able to get out, but Ernestine was trapped inside.

 August 1, 2020, Portland, OREGON, USA: A group of thirty people representing Rural America For Black Lives marched with Justice System Reform & Equity in Education. The group came from a variety of rural Oregon towns including Corbett, Sandy, Estacada, Troutdale and Coos Bay. It was their first time coming to Portland as a group. Most of them have participated in marches in their smaller hometowns.
