‘ZUMA Press photographer extra-ordinary Jeff ‘Tankman’ Widener, Is having a very big week, it is the 30th anniversary of his legendary image, which got him the nickname. Jeff got the nickname, for his poignant moment in time of an unidentified Chinese man who definitely stood in front of a convoy of tanks, leaving Tiananmen Square on June 5, 1989, the morning after the Chinese military had suppressed the Tiananmen Square protests by force. Jeff is celebrating another big coup, spending a unprecedented amount of time exclusively photographing Bryan Cranston and the cast of ‘Network’ doing their magic on the their hit play. Jeff’s images are never before glimpse into the raw talent and personality of thespian extra-ordinary Cranston. BRAVO! Wonderful collaboration, Take  a bow Mr. Cranston and Mr. Widener!’ Scott Mc Kiernan Founder, ZUMA Press, Inc.

Mother Nature was the dominant force in the month of May with tornadoes ripping across America’s heartland. Politics at home continued to be feisty while overseas, the Middle East remained a hotbed of violence, British Prime Minister Theresa May resigned, celebrities preened at Cannes and a royal baby was born. All this and more as the May Pictures Of the Month for @ZUMApress is now published. Sit back and enjoy POM! “The Pictures of the Month” presented by Scott Mc Kiernan and ZUMA Press.
