October 25, 2025, Cottbus, Brandenburg, Germany: People march in the 17th Christopher Street Day (CSD) demonstration under the motto ‘United in Peace and Diversity’ in Cottbus. Police escorted the parade with reinforced units and estimated more than 800 participants, while around 90 right-wing counter-protesters gathered nearby. Two individuals were removed for allegedly inciting criminal acts, and one dispersal order was issued. After several rainbow flags were vandalized the night before, organizers increased security measures, as a home match of Energie Cottbus took place simultaneously in the city.
