April 8, 2025, Bangkok, Thailand: Search and rescue workers scale the rubble pile during one last search for survivors at the State Audit Office construction site collapse in Bangkok, Thailand caused by the March 28th 7.7 earthquake in neighboring Myanmar. The under construction government high rise stood at 33 stories tall when the earthquake struck while the workers were on their lunch break, causing it to implode downward with violent force. Official numbers now list 20 dead recovered and 9 injured from the site with 74 still unaccounted for.
