BRUNA FONTE is a photographer and a writer who specializes in documentary work. Her last exhibition, the series Trilhos (Railways), about the old abandoned trains of Sao Paulo, was seen by more than two million people in 2012. An exhibition of her most recent photographic project, Nosotros – Retratos de Latino-America (Portraits of Latin America) is set to open in Oct. 2013. As a writer, she is the author of the books Essa tal de Bossa Nova (Rocco/Prumo, 2012) and O Barquinho Vai… Roberto Menescal e suas histories (Vitale, 2010). These books are the result of five years of research with the composer Roberto Menescal, one of the creators of Bossa Nova. This year she is also responsible for the research and story line of the adaptation of her book Essa tal de Bossa Nova for TV. Her newest book will be released in the first semester of 2014.
