June 14, 2020, Sao Paulo, Brazil: High street shopping in the center of the city of Sao Paulo returned to work with restricted hours and security measures for employees and customers. The authorization came after the signing a term of commitment between representatives of the category and the city government and is part of the protocols of the plan to resume economic activity created by the state government. Stores must follow a protocol of sanitary rules to be able to function.
Scientists and doctors criticize the reopening at this time, since the contagion curve continues to rise. Brazil is the second country in numbers of infected with COVID 19 and the third in number of deaths.
