People throughout Southern California reported feeling the powerful 10:33 a.m. quake, whose epicenter was located about 62 miles north-northwest of Barstow, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The San Bernardino County Fire Department said multiple buildings in its jurisdiction sustained minor cracks, multiple water mains ruptured, and several power lines were down.
