75th Anniversary Hiroshima Lantern Floating Event

August 6, 2020, Hiroshima, Japan – Paper lanterns float on the Motoyasu River near to the Atomic Bomb Dome. Due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the public was not allowed to participate during the lantern floating event this year. A small group of volunteers and organizers released a few float lanterns, in memory of victims of the atomic bombing, during the 75th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Thursday.
