August 7, 2020, New York, USA: Blackout in Upper Manhattan. Because of a problem in transmission system, Con Edison says some areas in New York like Harlem, The Upper West side and Upper East side lost their electricity supply at about 5.13am affecting some services including some train stations, internet. Some parts of Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island are also affected. The supply has however been restored as at 6.41am but the aftermath continued to show up as subway elevators closed and some stations are still affected and heavy traffic in some areas eased by presence of Policemen.
