September 26, 2020, Louisville, Kentucky, USA: Louisville BLM Protestors sought sanctuary for a third night at First Unitarian Church on 4th and York. But Police and Federal Agents tried to get a search warrant after a small group of people smashed windows at the local college and set a car ablaze. Shortly after the 9:00 pm Curfew, the dominant protestors, wanting to keep the protest peaceful, were so angry when about a dozen of the younger people started setting off firecrackers at the start of a march, that they cancelled their plans and went into the Church, and made a rule that anyone who went outside the Church could not come back in. Clergy from numerous churches joined together and once again negotiated with a LMPD Police Representative: this time Spokeswoman Jess Halliday. It was almost 4:00am when she called to say the Riot Police were changing shifts, and protestors could go home without fear of arrest. She promised they would be safe if they went home. Protestors organized ride-shares.
