19 Nov, 2020: David Kong CEO of Best Western said today, that if congress does not pass another stimulus bill very soon most of the rest of the Hotels will go under. Already at least 25 % has closed their doors. This one the owner walked away and left the bank with a bad loan. Just closed the door and left. The table cloths are still on the tables in the restuarant area and all the rooms still have the furnishings in them. But the water has drained out of the pool and hot tub and the plants are dead or dying. Some 38,000 of the nation’s 57,000 hotels will close within six months without further government assistance, according to the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
