December 28, 2015 – Trelleborg, SWE – This is a Dec. 28, 2015 handout photo portrait of the Swedish journalist Kim Wall taken in Trelleborg, Sweden. Danish rocket enthusiast and submarine owner Peter Madsen had video footage of women being killed and decapitated stored on his computers hard drive it was told in the Copenhagen Municipal Court, October 3, 2017. Peter Madsen, who is charged with murdering Swedish journalist Kim Wall during a trip in his submarine on August 10, was present in court via a videolink. Madsen has earlier explained to the court that Kim Wall died after being hit by a 70kg hatch as she was on her way up into the conning tower. Madsen had been holding the hatch, but slipped and let go. Madsen claimed Kim Wall fell back onto the submarine deck and died soon afterwards. He claimed he decided to bury her at sea, but denied he had quartered and decapitated the body. Kim Wall’s torso was eventually found at the water’s edge in southern Amager. A weighted metal chain was found attached to the torso. The police are still looking for the remains of her body in the waters close to Copenhagen.
