The legendary Prohibition-era restaurant 21 Club announced on Friday that it will close for the foreseeable future due to indoor dining restrictions announced by Governor Andrew Cuomo to stem the rise of COVID-19 cases in New York City. The restaurant told its 148 employees that they will be terminated by March of next year.
