March 12, 2021, Carson, California, USA: KITSIA P. GUARDADO teared up with emotion as she received her COVID-19 vaccine from Dr. LUCAS RESTREPO. Guardado was able to start her own trucking business with extended time away from her children because she had a nanny willing to support her efforts. Her nanny and friend of 22 years passed away after contracting the virus so the tears were for her and the other family and friends who have battled tragedy this past year. The International Brotherhood of Teamsters along with Northeast Community Clinic and support from local politicians were able to set up the clinic at Shippers Transport Express.Â
