January 3, 2023, HONG KONG, CHINA: In Hong Kong, mother and her daughter walking pass closed shutter of main entrance to the High Speed Rail terminal at the Kowloon Station. As the Covid-19 outbreak on the China Mainland is rampant in various provinces, Hong Kong is taking a cautious measure not to open main port of Lo Wu at the China-HK boarder on 8th of January this year, which would allow China Mainlanders to be transported directly into the city centre by MTR train system. Meanwhile, High Speed Rail terminal at Kowloon Station will not be opened for further notice although preparation for re-opening of station is now under way.Jan-3,2023Hong Kong.ZUMA/Liau Chung-ren (Credit Image: © Liau Chung-ren/ZUMA Press Wire)
