January 14, 2023, Santa Barbara, California, U.S.A: Engineers and support staff arrives in Montecito with their heavy equipment: Division 649 of the United States National Guard has come to he San Ysidro Creek and Randall Road Debris Basin in the pouring rain to assist Santa Barbara County officials with re-directing the rain and creek water so that it doesn’t flood Montecito again, like in 2018.
