March 26, 2023, HONG KONG, CHINA: In Hong Kong, citizens from East Kowloon district parade on the street protesting the construction of a new cement factory close to the residential area and reclamation of the sea around Cheung Kwan O. Approximately 80 local residents at Cheung Kwan O in East Kowloon staged a first public demonstration after the implementation of National Security Law in 2020 strictly prohibit public protests and congregation. Protest parade proceeded under strict surveillance by the police force, all protesters participated in the parade was forced to wear ID tags and asked not to wear facemasks so that police could identify their faces.
