August 19, 2020, Vacaville, California, USA: Carrie Paulson and her daughter McKenna Bernard hold a cat named Stripper in their SUV inside the evacuation zone outside Vacaville. Paulson and her daughter volunteered to rescue the cat after the owner put out a plea on the Next-door app while she was away on vacation. A San Francisco firefighter helped them while firefighters worked to save the home during the LNU Lightning Complex fires in Vacaville.

April 5, 2017: A Reticulated Giraffe at the Memphis Zoo gave birth while on exhibit.The baby is being hand raised by zoo keepers. The Memphis Zoo announce the birth of a baby boy giraffe, “Bogey.” “Bogey was born on Monday, April 3 at noon, while mother “Akili” was on exhibit. The infant was named in honor of Steve Bogarty, a long-time Memphis zookeeper, who recently passed away.

September 1, 2020, Memphis, Tennessee, USA: Workmen clean up GRACELAND, the ELVIS PRESLEY estate, one of the most visited homes in America. The popular tourist site was hit overnight with “Defund the Police” and “BLM” (Black Lives Matter) graffiti. The vandalism was on the wall outside his home in a space used for fans who want to leave messages. Thick black letters on the sidewalk along Elvis Presley Boulevard and other slogans were sprayed on the stone wall in front of the mansion where Elvis lived for 20 years, until his death on Aug. 16, 1977.
