Protestors light some trash on fire at the door to the courthouse, behind which reside Federal Agents sent by President Trump stop the Black Lives Matter protests. Other protestors — one who is a US military combat veteran, begins to stamp out the fire. Tear gas begins to pour out from the opening.

zReportage.com Story of the Week #746: TUESDAY July 21, 2020: THE INVISIBLE MAN by ZUMA Press Photographer Svetlana Bachevanova: extraordinary Bulgarian photojournalist. 2001 emigrated to USA. 2010, launched FotoEvidence, a NGO supporting the role photojournalists play, with a book publishing award. Svetlana gives us, a personal view of her sons life saving isolation under coronavirus. VLADI, 40, was five years old when he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Thirty-three when he lost 70% of his vision and 37 when he went through a kidney transplant, requiring him to take immunosuppressant drugs daily for the rest of his life. He takes an additional eight different medications and will remain quarantined until a vaccine is developed. With the arrival of Covid-19 the threat has become lethal and pervasive. His only interactions are with his family, the local pharmacist and his doctors. One in five people around the world could be at risk of developing a severe case of Covid-19, an international team of scientists has estimated. Since the beginning of the outbreak, health authorities around the world have agreed that people with chronic illnesses are most prone to developing severe or fatal symptoms of the coronavirus, meaning 1.7 billion people around the world, or 22% of the global population, are at ‘increased risk.’ Welcome to: THE INVISIBLE MAN

July 4, 2019, Ridgecrest, California, USA: Two people cross over a crack on the road of Hwy 178 east of Ridgecrest after a magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck Thursday morning in the Mojave Desert’s Seamless Valley on the Fourth of July. People throughout Southern California reported feeling the powerful 10:33 a.m. quake, whose epicenter was located about 62 miles north-northwest of Barstow, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The San Bernardino County Fire Department said multiple buildings in its jurisdiction sustained minor cracks, multiple water mains ruptured, and several power lines were down.
July 6, 2019 – Ridgecrest, California, U.S – This house got burned to the ground after a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Mojave Desert, which is in the city of Ridgecrest southwest of Death Valley National Park, 200 kilometers northeast of Los Angeles.

Venezuela alcanzó los 100 muertos por coronavirus y sumó 10.428 casos

June 11, 2020, Valencia, Carabobo, Venezuela:

 Without respecting the social distancing recommended by the WHO, World Health Organization, as a preventive measure against Covid-19, coronavirus. The numbers of people affected daily in Venezuela exceed one hundred, after the return from quarantine. During three months of quarantine (March, April and May) the numbers of people affected daily did not exceed 10 suspected cases per day. The Pan American health organization called on governments not to neglect the rules of prevention against the pandemic. The photo shows that people walking without respecting a social distancing, in the main street  of the city Carabobo.
