July 12, 2019, Republic of Armenia: Mining operations and impact in Armenia near the border with the Artsakh Republic have caused serious concerns about environmental impacts from mining gold and other minerals. Residents in some areas have blocked mining operations by occupying some sites. Leakage from tailing dams may pollute Lake Sevan and even the Ararat Valley where agricultural irrigation water from the lake may contaminate farms.

Then her body and mind start to fail her. Jay Cridlin met Zai in August 2017. He followed her at home, in hospitals and through all nine months of her pregnancy, witnessing seizures, breakdowns and personality shifts along the way. He shadowed her at gigs, in the studio and during auditions for American Idol and America’s Got Talent in Tampa, Orlando and Tallahassee. June 11, 2020, Valencia, Carabobo, Venezuela: The numbers of people affected daily in Venezuela exceed one hundred cases per day. Venezuelans have disregarded social distancing recommended by the WHO, World Health Organization, as a preventive measure against Covid-19, coronavirus. During three months of quarantine (March, April and May) the numbers of people affected daily did not exceed 10 suspected cases per day. The Pan American health organization called on governments not to neglect the rules of prevention against the pandemic.
