July 22, 2020: Portland OR: Federal officers, wearing camouflage and tactical gear, fire tear gas and and other munitions to disperse the crowd of protesters. Federal officers were deployed to Portland to quell unrest and protect federal property as demonstrations have escalated in recent months.

Svetlana gives us, a personal view of her sons life saving isolation under coronavirus. VLADI, 40, was five years old when he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Thirty-three when he lost 70% of his vision and 37 when he went through a kidney transplant, requiring him to take immunosuppressant drugs daily for the rest of his life. He takes an additional eight different medications and will remain quarantined until a vaccine is developed. With the arrival of Covid-19 the threat has become lethal and pervasive. His only interactions are with his family, the local pharmacist and his doctors. One in five people around the world could be at risk of developing a severe case of Covid-19, an international team of scientists has estimated. Since the beginning of the outbreak, health authorities around the world have agreed that people with chronic illnesses are most prone to developing severe or fatal symptoms of the coronavirus, meaning 1.7 billion people around the world, or 22% of the global population, are at ‘increased risk.’ Welcome to: THE INVISIBLE MAN

July 4, 2019, Ridgecrest, California, USA: Two people cross over a crack on the road of Hwy 178 east of Ridgecrest after a magnitude 6.4 earthquake struck Thursday morning in the Mojave Desert’s Seamless Valley on the Fourth of July. People throughout Southern California reported feeling the powerful 10:33 a.m. quake, whose epicenter was located about 62 miles north-northwest of Barstow, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The San Bernardino County Fire Department said multiple buildings in its jurisdiction sustained minor cracks, multiple water mains ruptured, and several power lines were down.
July 6, 2019 – Ridgecrest, California, U.S – This house got burned to the ground after a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Mojave Desert, which is in the city of Ridgecrest southwest of Death Valley National Park, 200 kilometers northeast of Los Angeles.
