July 27, 2020, Valencia, Carabobo, Venezuela: Workers at the peripheral market of the bullring, south of the city, protested the closure of the market, demanding their right to work. The municipal authorities ordered the closure for preventive measures against covid-19, which in recent weeks has increased the number of infected people, in the city of Valencia, Venezuela.

The BLM protests have had seen lots of questionable police actions,  ZUMA’s Dallas bureau photojournalist CHRIS RUSANOWSKY got detained while covering a protest, despite clearly being media, they locked him up over night, but not before making some great pultizer worthy content showing one such moment. Bravo Chris!  Everyone safety first out there!

Hiroshima Bombing 75th Anniversary

August 6, 2020, Hiroshima, Japan: A member of staff lights a paper lantern on the Motoyasu River near to the Atomic Bomb Dome. Due to the new coronavirus pandemic, the public was not allowed to participate during the lantern floating event this year. A small group of volunteers and organizers released a few float lanterns, in memory of victims of the atomic bombing, during the 75th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima, Thursday.
